BRIEFING NOTES On September 10 and 11,2009 the community of Pelican Narrows had their Pandemic Strategy Planning Meeting, in which all agencies, local committees, Chief and Local council were invited to attend.

The meeting was a requiring step to plan and prepare for another influenza outbreak. On September 10, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. located at the Wapanacak School each agency, Committee, RCMP, Chief and Local Council had done the tabletop exercise, which was preps for different scenarios of a pandemic outbreak. September 11, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. the community workshop was held at the Wapanacak School Gym and lunch was provided to the community members who attended.
